Christmas Eve

An hour before Midnight Mass. In front of the Christmas tree. The D.E.B. got down on one knee and proposed. I said, yes.
Happy Christmas!

I was going to say that I have to be invited so that you could have a "crazy Aunt" figure at the wedding, making druken toasts to the bride and groom and trying to feel up the young bus boys, but I think that someone in your family already has the position covered.

But as I am drinking anyway, let me make a toast.

To you and D.E.B. may your ball and chain be solid gold and studded with dimonds.

Oh, and your mother wants me to add that she is ordering up a couple of buns in the oven ASAP.

Congrats Darling!!

Dear SWC: Thanks for the congrats! And as for the vacancy for "Crazy Aunt at the wedding" slot, well, I have so many candidates to choose from, I reckon you've got as good chance as any. What the heck, you're on!

Smashing news on my filling the post for crazy aunt-- but let's change it to crazy sister (I know there is some mean competition for that post, but I love a good challenge and have been told that I can out crazy anyone).
